Geography of Innovation Winter School

Tim Becker attended the Geography of Innovation Winter School in Pavia, Italy from January 15-19, 2024. The Geography of Innovation Winter School provided an intensive training program for PhD students and early career researchers and gave participants the opportunity to present their ongoing research and receive feedback from renowned scholars in the field. The school also included lectures by 12 speakers from academia, EU research centers (JRC Seville, JRC Ispra) and data analytics companies (Ip-Quant) as well as data lab sessions on topics such as technological diversification, regional innovation policy, network science, economic complexity, green innovation and patent data. Tim Becker presented his work on 'How to open green windows of opportunity in the construction sector? Insights from India and China'.
