4th ISTARI.AI Research Partner Workshop

On November 12, 2025, Moritz Schütz took part in the 4th ISTARI.AI Research Partner Workshop in Mannheim. The event brought together researchers from across Europe to discuss recent developments and research findings in the field of WebAI.

A key element of the programme was the keynote by Arash Hajikhani, who spoke about the influence of AI on scientific research and new approaches to measuring innovation. His presentation set the stage for a day full of engaging discussions and valuable knowledge exchange.

Throughout the day, researchers from the ISTARI.AI Research Partner Community presented their projects and emerging research ideas.

Moritz Schütz also contributed to the session on ‘Public Institutions’. Under the title 'Forgotten and Left-Behind? A Quantitative Analysis of Geocoded News Articles on German Regions', he presented key insights from his ongoing research.
