CIRCLE Research Symposium in Lund

On September 4–5, Dr. Sebastian Losacker presented at the CIRCLE Research Symposium in Lund a paper co-authored with Dr. Francesca Mazzoni and Dr. Christian Binz, recently published in Geoforum:

"What can the bamboo industry learn from timber? Resource mobilization across global innovation systems in the construction sector"

In his presentation, he demonstrated how key system resources—knowledge, legitimacy, markets, and financial investments—can be mobilized across innovation system boundaries, shaping the emergence and performance of technological innovation systems. He illustrated this conceptual perspective with empirical examples of resource mobilization between the innovation systems of bamboo and timber construction technologies.
