Successful PhD defense by Francesca Mazzoni

Francesca Mazzoni, who has been a guest researcher in the TRABBI project since April 2023, has successfully defended her PhD thesis at the Gran Sasso Science Institute. Her cumulative dissertation entitled "The Geography of Circular and Bioeconomy Transitions: Insights from an Innovation System Perspective" consists of three scientific articles, two of which were written in collaboration with TRABBI. Over the past two years, Francesca Mazzoni has conducted qualitative interviews with stakeholders from the construction sector in Italy and analysed this data in combination with other interviews from the TRABBI project from a global perspective. Project leader Sebastian Losacker acted as main supervisor and was part of the examination committee.
