Young Geography Congress 2025 in Leipzig

From September 17–20, 2025, Charlotte Lobensteiner and Linda Lütkes attended the Junger Kongress für Geograhie (JKG), a congress for young geographers.. Held under the motto "creative. critical. changing. – Young Perspectives on Geography," the congress took place at the Institute of Geography, University of Leipzig.
The JKG 2025 was organized by GeoDACH e.V. in cooperation with the FSR Geography Leipzig and the Institute of Geography, University of Leipzig. The organizing team consisted of engaged students and doctoral researchers from across the German-speaking region.
Charlotte Lobensteiner was actively involved in the organisation and planning of the program. The program included keynotes, thematic sessions, discussion rounds, excursions, and a varied evening program. In the session "How to Publish," Linda Lütkes shared her experiences in publishing academic research from a student perspective.
