TRABBI team at the 7th Global Conference on Economic Geography in Worcester (USA)

From June 4 to 8, the TRABBI team participated in the 7th Global Conference on Economic Geography in Worcester, USA – the world’s largest conference in the field of economic geography. With three presentations, the team was strongly represented:

  • Sebastian Losacker presented his analysis of public perception of heat pumps: “Tracking the public perception of heat pumps: A sentiment analysis of German news articles.”
  • Tim Becker spoke about green market formation and shared insights from the bamboo construction industry in China: “The geography of green market formation: Insights from the bamboo construction industry in China.”
  • Moritz Schütz presented his quantitative analysis on the media visibility of German regions: “Forgotten and Left-Behind? A Quantitative Analysis of Geocoded News Articles on German Regions.”

The conference provided an excellent platform for international exchange on current issues in economic geography.
