Talk at the Centre for Social Innovation

On 11 August, Dr. Sebastian Losacker and Linda Lütkes were guests at the Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) in Vienna. As part of the “Research Talk – Talk Research” format, they presented current research findings on the topic “Old roots, new routes: A revaluation perspective on the geographies of innovation.”

Using the bamboo industry in India as an example, they demonstrated how traditional knowledge, technologies, and practices can be re-evaluated as retro-innovations, thereby gaining new relevance and value. The talk was followed by a lively discussion with interested staff members from various departments at ZSI.
