Young Economic Geographers Network (YEGN) Workshop 2026

Tim Becker and Linda Lütkes participated in this year’s workshop of the Young Economic Geographers Network (YEGN) in Gothenburg and joined in celebrating the network’s 10th anniversary.

The workshop focused on topics such as green transformation and decarbonization, climate change adaptation and the resilience of cities and regions, sustainable and equitable urban and regional development, as well as post-growth perspectives in economic geography.

The event combined a traditional academic workshop format with informal networking elements, aiming to foster scholarly exchange, provide space for career reflection, and support network-building among early-career researchers. Tim Becker and Linda Lütkes presented their current research and discussed it with other early-career scholars.
