On November 12, 2025, Moritz Schütz took part in the 4th ISTARI.AI Research Partner Workshop in Mannheim. The event brought together researchers from across Europe to discuss recent developments and research findings in the field of WebAI.

Dr. Sebastian Losacker took part in an event organized by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) on November 10, 2025, in Berlin. The event, titled “Artificial Intelligence as a Catalyst for the Bioeconomy,” explored the potential of this key technology for a bio-based economy from various perspectives.

Dr. Sebastian Losacker and Moritz Schütz participated in the Research Colloquium of the Institute for Small Business Economics at the Georg‐August‐University Goettingen (ifh Göttingen) on October 28, 2025.

The 19th Regional Innovation Policies Conference brought together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners at the Venice School of Management of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The conference is recognized as an important international forum for exchanging ideas on regional innovation processes, regional economies, and policy strategies.

On 9 October 2025, the TRABBI team took part in the LIVEABLE workshop in Trier. The event was organised by the project team of the DFG-funded project LIVEABLE and brought together researchers from Germany and Luxembourg.

In the first episode of the new podcast series by the Verband der Geographen an deutschen Hochschulen (VGDH), Dr. Lukas Kriesch and Sebastian Schmidt discuss "What Use Is Artificial Intelligence to Geography?".

On September 22–23, Dr. Sebastian Losacker participated in the workshop "Anchoring Transformation: Regional perspectives and transdisciplinary approaches" in Darmstadt. The workshop was organized within the BMBF project RENEW by the University of Göttingen and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

From September 17–20, 2025, Charlotte Lobensteiner and Linda Lütkes attended the Junger Kongress für Geographie (JKG), a congress for young geographers. Held under the motto "creative. critical. changing. – Young Perspectives on Geography," the congress took place at the Institute of Geography, University of Leipzig.

On September 4–5, Dr. Sebastian Losacker presented at the CIRCLE Research Symposium in Lund a paper co-authored with Dr. Francesca Mazzoni and Dr. Christian Binz, recently published in Geoforum.
